The STOIC Rover
I’d been given the Rover by some kinds chaps at STOIC when they were clearing out the studios some years back. However when I moved house 2 years ago it went missing.
I bumped into the new owner of my old place and he mentioned he’d found an extremely old and heavy video recorder. I immediately knew it must be the rover, or Sony VO-600PS to give it’s proper name.
Sadly it’s missing a bit of fascia on the top, but apart from that appears in “as new” condition… There’s even a tape inside. Wonder what’s on it…

Andy C: I think I might have been a bit fitter back in college, I remember being just about being able to manage to carry the rover, camera and tripod.
